Reservations are taken one year in advance on a rolling basis. Current campers have the first opportunity to renew their same site each weekend if done by Saturday evening. We are currently taking reservations for the following dates and events in 2025 and for the corresponding events in 2026 after the weekend passes this year. Upon arrival, all members presenting their hero badges and IDs will receive a $50 credit onto their account. Hey Peeps, Granite Hill’s Easter eggstravaganza is back! There is a lot in store this weekend and there is a rumor going around that a special celebrity guest will be making an appearance: Peter Cottontail! Throughout the weekend, spend time searching for a golden easter egg hidden somewhere inside the campground for a chance to win the ultimate prize: a bonanza gem mining bucket the entire family will have fun with! Friday night there will be a fun tween easter egg hunt at the Adventure Golf Course with glow in the dark eggs. Don’t forget to pack your flashlights and bring a basket to collect them. Starting Saturday morning, we will have four different egg hunts for our younger candy lovers. Afterwards, we invite all families to the Rec Hall to create a fun easter craft with Peter Cottontail. The remainder of the day is packed with fun including a fun photo op with Peter Cottontail, a nature scavenger hunt, a springtime flower planting activity, and a horseshoe tournament! As the day comes to an end we invite all of our campers to return to the rec hall to participate in an Easter Potluck. We ask participants to bring a side dish and a dessert to share with other campers, and the ham will be provided. Seasonal campers are encouraged to join in the fun to meet others and receive their special thank-you gifts for joining us this season! Between playing horseshoes, belting out your favorite tunes at karaoke, or grabbing a delicious bite at the Red Shed Café, we have plenty of activities to make this Halloween weekend one to remember. Winter is almost here and that means it’s time to make your way to Granite Hill for one last camping adventure of the season. We hope this season was one of the best yet and your vacation and stay with us are both wonderful and memorable. Upon arrival, all members presenting their hero badges and IDs will receive a $50 credit onto their account. This credit is valid for the 2026 camping season and can be used towards store purchases or a future reservation. This credit cannot be used in the Red Shed Cafe. Advance reservations are required so call soon to secure your site! Our heroes include our military, fire, EMS, or police personnel. Camping Facilities are Closed December through March: However, if you are passing through Gettysburg and need a place to stay, give us a call and we will try to accommodate!
Winter Office Hours: Closed December 13- January 2. Open January through March: Monday through Friday 9-5, Closed on Saturdays & Sundays. If our office is closed, please submit an online reservation request and we will call to confirm your reservation when the office reopens. Please keep in mind that if you submit a reservation request over the weekend, your reservation will be confirmed on the next business day.
Is your SCOUT TROOP interested in a WINTER CAMP out? Then give us a call! Winter camping is a big hit for scouts! Set your tents up on Breezy Hill or the MG Line and use the pavilion behind the office for cooking and meals! Bathrooms are conveniently located by the office. Reservations required.
