Granite Hill Mining Company which opened spring of 2023 was a highlight for the season. There’s no denying that kids love rocks! Large, small, shiny or rough. They are fascinating to young minds eager to explore and learn. Campers young and young at heart will sift their way through sand and dirt at the mining sluice to reveal real raw uncut gems, crystals, arrowheads, sharks teeth and fossils. Rocks and mining bags will be available for purchase in the camp store and each bag comes with an educational brochure to identify your gems and treasures and show you where they can be found around the world!
New to Granite Hill in 2024! New this September, The Chamber of Gettysburg & Adams County presents the 20th Anniversary Wine & Music Festival at Granite Hill. Savor hundreds of wines from Pennsylvania wineries, spirits from Pennsylvania distilleries and enjoy great live music. Plan to impress us with your best camping side dish and dessert for the Pig Roast Potluck on June 22, 2024, relax at the swimming pool and enjoy a free poolside cook out on June 29, 2004, leave the work and worries at home and plan to hit a selection or all of the food trucks at the bluegrass festivals, and don’t forget to place your order for scrumptious Maryland steamed crabs in advance for August 10th! Back by popular demand in 2024: Happy Hour at the Red Shed Café got a little happier in 2023 and we heard you! Acoustic artist Nick Mich Music was a huge hit and we are delighted to welcome him back. All season long, we offer a host of themed weekends and daily activities. Our regularly scheduled activities at Granite Hill include games, crafts, hayrides, dances, bonfire socials, nature walks and ghost walks, all under the supervision of a full-time Activities Director.
At Granite Hill Camping Resort we offer over 300 private camping sites. Our accommodations include tent sites, pull-thru RV sites and rustic camping cabins in a wooded setting. We can also accommodate your groups and rallies, inquire today.

We enjoyed lots of activities. Your grounds are very clean, and your attendants are very nice. Our only suggestion is that we would like to see you designate a section of the campground as a “no pets area”.
I like the layout. Not a parking lot. Open spaces, lots of recreational opportunities, and restful. This was my first time camping at Granite Hill, and I plan to return.
